The wind in Maui has been consistently strong and the swell has been picking up.  We have been kiting both the South and North sides of the island depending on where the waves and wind are.  I have found a new love in wave riding.  It's like opening a whole new side to the sport of kiteboarding.  Since I've been having way too much fun just riding, I'm posting up some of my favorite shots from my crazy kiting life the last two years.

Hatteras, Outer Banks, North Carolina

We had such good wind while we were there

I just started jumping here, sometimes not so sucessful

John throwing down back when he rode twin tip

Eric Reinstra, he used to live in Maui and work with Wainman

All the Wainmans were out

John's F-16. Sunset session, the wind blows all night here

Shipwrecks, Oregon Coast

Our buddy Jacob Perry and I loving the south wind, waves, and freezing water

Our old home we toured the whole west coast in

The Columbia River Gorge, Oregon

John was the only one out and killing it on the Gypsy

Hood River

Roofus

La Ventana, Baja, Mexico

This is our favorite spot.  It's where I met John and we have spent two winters down here.

My first two Dorados (and my competition, Javier's catch)

This is how John snaps all his boards

Flaco; our Mexi-Mutt rescue pup

Shane at the Mexican Nationals

Our Baja board shack

Truly paradise

Flaco guarding the fort

Gotta love the Bunny days

The two cookiest guys in camp, John and B-Runnin

I was the good luck charm on our fishing boat

My honey and I after finishing the race

Canejo, Baja, Mexico

My favorite shot, it says it all

I couldn't be happier

Bahia De Conseption, Baja, Mexico

Even the dogs were loving the show

The most beautiful bay in all of Baja that rarely ever gets wind.  We got it good that day

Sherman Island, The Delta, California

The dogs loved it here, total freedom.  Almost as good as Mexico

The ususal line-up on the island

Sometimes you come down too fast to react.  The first battle wound.

Down time with the crew

Maui, Hawaii

And now we're here in Maui loving the 5 or 7m winds almost daily

Even John's brother Chano is getting in on the action
